The Ron Kamonohashi: Deranged Detective anime adaptation was unveiled at Jump Festa 2023. On the occasion, a new teaser trailer and the anime’s first key visual were shown.
In terms of airing timing, ‘Ron Kamonohashi: Deranged Detective’ is scheduled for the second half of 2023 or even 2024.

The Staff Involved
The series is being animated by Studio Diomedéa (renowned for series such as Domestic Girlfriend, Problem Children Are Coming from Another World, Aren’t They? and Aho Girl), with Shouta Ihata (Domestic Girlfriend, The Saint’s Magic Power is Omnipotent) in charge of the direction.
Wataru Watari (My Teen Romantic Comedy, Girlish Number) is writing the scripts, and Masazaku Ishikawa (Squid Girl, The Saint’s Magic Power is Omnipotent) will handle the character designs.
Yo Tsuji will also compose the music for the series which will be produced by KADOKAWA.

The series follows the misadventures of Ron Kamonohashi, an eccentric private investigator, and Totomaru Isshiki, an inexperienced police officer. The two work together to solve crimes.
Ron plays a broken guy with a genius streak, while Ishiki is your naive police detective who serves as your straight man for the events that unfold. Furthermore, with the two combined, they can solve any and all cases, even the most improbable.
Ron Kamonohashi: Deranged Detective’s Manga
Akira Amano’s Ron Kamonohashi: Deranged Detective manga began biweekly serialization in Shueisha’s online magazine Shounen Jump+ on October 11, 2020, in Japan.
Shueisha has divided its chapters into tankobon volumes. On February 4, 2021, the first volume was released. Additionally, nine volumes have been released as of January 4, 2023.
There is a simultaneous publication license for the series in North America and Japan. Presently, Shueisha’s Manga Plus service has digitally released its chapters in both English and Spanish.
So far, no publishers in the United States have acquired the license for the series.

The release date for Ron Kamonohashi: Deranged Detective anime has not yet been confirmed. Moreover, it will first air on Japanese TV networks such as AT-X, SUN, Tokyo MX, KBS Kyoto, and BS11 before being made available on other platforms such as Crunchyroll.
