The sequel of Shaman King Flowers was confirmed at the end of the Shaman King (2019) episode. It stated that the story will revolve around Hana, the son of Yoh and Anna.
It took around a whole year before further information was revealed. On March 15, 2023, the official website of Shaman King released the list of staff, cast, a key visual, and a teaser video. Not only that, they also confirmed that Shaman King Flowers is slated to premiere in January 2024.
Now that we’re only one season away from winter, the staff revealed more information about the series. Below, we have attached the new first PV depicting the character introduction and new additional characters which were released on August 15. Read on!
Shaman King Flowers PV
Unlike the teaser video from March that only showed Hana’s face, this PV provides a clear introduction to the main character who will appear in the series. Because it is depicted as the first PV, we can expect more PV coming in the future.
Looking at the video, as expected we will meet the characters from the past series, Amidamaru, Ryuji, and Tamao. Aside from them, the whole cast is replaced with a new generation of shamans.
In terms of visual quality, the sequel almost has the same quality compared with its predecessor, Shaman King (2019). It is already expected because most of the staff is coming back and they even work in the same studio.

Shaman King Flowers Story
The story centers around Asakura Hana, son of Yoh Asakura and Anna, about 14 years after Shaman Fight in Tokyo. He inherited his father’s samurai spirit, Amidamaru. Even though he still lives in Funabori Inn as his father did, the one who takes care of him is Tamao and Ryu.
Maybe because of his lack of parental care, he grows into a lazy kid like his father. But he is worse than him because he loves to fight others, skip classes, and don’t bother with anything.
Yet, everything changes when the family branch of Asakura, Luca and Yohane, attacks him. To restore their right to be the only rightful heir of Asakura, they plan to kill Hana. But, this assault is only the beginning of something much bigger. The shaman world will once again shake after a decade of peace!
