Prior to the original anime’s debut next month, Buddy Daddies is on a mission to grab our attention. Toshiyuki Morikawa will be cast By Assassin Anime Buddy Daddies. Toshiyuki Morikawa, a voice-acting legend best known for playing Ruthven in The Case Study of Vanitas. Now that’s really cool.

The anime is being directed by Yoshiyuki Asai at P.A. Works. The original story was written by Nitroplus’ Vio Shimokura, who is also in charge of supervising the series scripts alongside Yuuko Kakihara. Original character designs were created by Katsumi Enami, while music is being created by Katsutoshi Kitagawa of Round Table.

Toshiyuki Morikawa has joined the cast of Buddy Daddies, a “Buddy Assassin” tv anime from Nitroplus and P.A. Works, it was revealed on Sunday during a preview screening. Kazuki and the other customers of the Yadorigi café are served by Kytar Kugi, who is portrayed by Morikawa. Additionally, Kgi is the assassins’ handler and sets up their tasks.

The story of the first episode, “Piece of Cake,” was also introduced by the staff. The plot opens on Christmas Day when Miri, a little girl yearning for her father, is encountered by the assassins Kazuki Kurusu and Rei Suwa. Unexpectedly, Kazuki, Rei, and Miri end up sharing a home. It already sounds wholesome.

Buddy Daddies, a film by P.A. WORKS (Akiba Maid War, Ya Boy Kongming, and Angel Beats). It centers on a pair of hired murderers who are faced with one of the most challenging assignments of their careers: watching the four-year-old daughter of a crime boss. This anime is going to make us laugh for sure.

The anime’s official account posted its first trailer, offering viewers a preview of what to expect and revealing the cast. The trailer moves quickly and places the two murderers in exciting circumstances including a car chase and gunfight. They now have to take care of a young child who doesn’t seem to understand what danger is, which amplifies the tension tenfold.

Release Date

Before broadcasting on additional channels, the series will make its television debut on January 6 at 12:00 a.m. JST on Tokyo MX, Tochigi TV, Gunma TV, and BS11. On January 6, the animation will make its simultaneous debut on the ABEMA TV service in Japan. Lucky for us, Crunchyroll will broadcast the animation outside of Japan.

The plotline of Buddy Daddies

The protagonist of the story is Kazuki Kurusu, a criminal contractor and coordinator who resides with his best friend Rei Suwa, a trained contract killer who works as an assassin professionally. Rei is a quiet man who likes to play video games in his spare time, while Kazuki is gregarious, enjoys gambling, and loves ladies.

After Miri unintentionally wanders into a firefight in a hotel while searching for her father, a mafia leader, the two friends wind up taking care of Miri Unasaka, a four-year-old girl.
