Jujutsu Kaisen: Phantom Parade Game is Getting a PC Release

The official website for the Jujutsu Kaisen: Phantom Parade role-playing game announced on Monday that the game is set to receive a PC release in 2024, with pre-registration now open. Jujutsu Kaisen: Phantom Parade Originally launched for iOS and Android on November 21, the game’s release schedule faced a delay from its initial spring 2023 projection, eventually arriving before the year’s end.

Developed by Sumzap, the smartphone game draws inspiration from Gege Akutami’s acclaimed Jujutsu Kaisen manga, offering players a free-to-play experience with optional in-app purchases. Featuring beloved characters like Yūji Itadori, Megumi Fushiguro, Nobara Kugisaki, Satoru Gojō, Kento Nanami, and more, the game promises immersive gameplay set within the vibrant world of Jujutsu Kaisen.

The game introduces a cast of original characters, including Saki Rindo voiced by Rina Satō, Kaito Yūki voiced by Kōtarō Nishiyama, and Kensuke Nagino voiced by Rikiya Koyama. Saki and Kaito navigate their first year at the Tokyo Prefectural Jujutsu High School’s Fukuoka branch, under the leadership of Kensuke, the branch school’s president.

The theme song “Avant” is performed by Eve, who also contributed the anime’s first opening theme “Kaikai Kitan.”

Akutami’s Jujutsu Kaisen manga, serialized in Shueisha’s Weekly Shonen Jump since March 2018, has garnered international acclaim. Viz Media, as part of its Jump Start initiative, released the first three chapters simultaneously with Japan, later transitioning to digital publication under its Shonen Jump model.

The Jujutsu Kaisen television anime premiered in October 2020, followed by the release of the Jujutsu Kaisen 0 anime film in December 2021, and subsequent premieres of the TV anime’s second season. Crunchyroll streamed the anime as it aired in Japan, with a sequel announced to adapt the manga’s “Culling Game” arc. The franchise’s enduring popularity continues to captivate audiences worldwide, expanding its immersive universe across various mediums.
