The Jujutsu Kaisen season 2 trailer for the Shibuya Incident arc debuted on Toho Animation’s YouTube page on Thursday, August 24. The Shibuya Incident arc, which is scheduled to begin on the following Thursday, August 31, is featured in multiple pictures from the trailer.
The opening theme tune from King Gnu’s future arc, SPECIALZ, was also included in the trailer. The second season of Jujutsu Kaisen’s Shibuya arc trailer lasts for 1 minute and 25 seconds. Suguru Geto declared that their battleground will be Shibuya on October 31 before handing control over to Yuji Itadori. The anime’s director will now be Shota Goshozono (Jujutsu Kaisen episode 8, 17 director). Takehito Koyasu plays Toji Fushiguro, and Anna Nagase plays Riko Amanai in the new cast. The opening theme music “Ao no Sumika” (Blue House) is performed by Tatsuya Kitani, and the closing theme song “Akari” (Lantern) is sung by Soushi Sakiyama.
