Senkou no Hathaway Season 2: What We Know So Far

With Kidou Senshi Gundam: Senkou no Hathaway Season 2’s potential release, the venerable Mobile Suit Gundam franchise has undertaken yet another big adaptation endeavor. Since its debut in the late 1970s, the Gundam franchise has grown significantly. It has virtually taken the form of the modern super robot-driven mecha genre.

Following the release of Mobile Suit Gundam Hathaway 1 in June 2021, Mobile Suit Gundam Hathaway 2 has been creating some buzz! Here is what we currently know about the forthcoming Gundam movie, in light of the buzz surrounding the trilogy.

Kidou Senshi Gundam: Senkou no Hathaway Season 2

The Gundam saga is spread throughout a number of animated films and television shows that have been produced since the 1980s. They still continue to rule the mecha genre while also being largely responsible for its creation. Following the creation of other works with a similar concept, Yoshiyuki Tomino began the series in 1979.

With the 1979–1980 debut of Mobile Suit Gundam, Tomino’s work in the mecha genre rose to prominence. The first Gundam series was just the start. The series has included movies, OVAs, ONAs, and various anime seasons that adapt Tomino’s works. Even its own video game series is based on Gundam!

Release Date

The release dates for the final two movies have not been made public. The second movie is already in the works! According to production progress, it is widely believed that the release of Kidou Senshi Gundam: Senkou no Hathaway Season 2 in theaters would take place in November 2022.

Plotline

The main character of the trilogy Hathaway Noa, son of Bright Noa, is a veteran pilot, commander, and important figure in the Earth Federation. He is also one of the most well-known figures in Mobile Suit Gundam and Mobile Suit Gundam ZZ. It’s interesting to note that Noa is also known as the alleged terrorist Mafty Navue Erin.

Noa has a chance to exact the retribution he wants thanks to the Mafty group, which likewise seeks to overthrow the Earth Federation. The 1980 series Mobile Suit Gundam Hathaway Flash by Tomino is the source material for Mobile Suit Gundam Hathaway. As of September 2021, only the first instalment of Sunrise Tokyo’s film trilogy had been released; the other two are scheduled for release later.

All we know right now is that Part 2 is official. We’ll update you when we get further details regarding the 2nd season. Mobile Suit Gundam Hathaway 2 will be called “Son of Bright” after Bright Noa. A significant figure in the Universal Century Timeline, according to the latest reports on advancements.
