Excited for the anime adaptation of the Viral Hit anime? We got you covered on some info you need to know.
The official website of the upcoming anime adaptation of Viral Hit finally revealed the anime’s official cast members. The names and details were unveiled in promotional video that was uploaded previously.
Viral Hit Premiere Date
The anime will set to premiere in April of this year on Fuji TV’s UItra+ programming block with the Japanese title Kenka Dokugaku, which is the webtoon series’ official Japanese title. Crunchyroll will also be streaming anime in the following regions: Central America, North America, South America, Africa, Europe, the Middle East, Oceania, and CIS.
Viral Hit Anime Cast and Crew
Kota Shimura will be voicing the main protagonist Satoshi Niwa. Kanegon will be voiced by Nobuhiko Okamoto. The voice of Aki Yashio will be odne by Fairouz Ai. Kaho Asamiya will be voiced by Yui Ishikawa. Hamaken will be voiced by Shunsuke Takeuchi. Reo Shinjo will be voiced by Kaito Ishikawa. Rumi Meguro will be voiced by Yoshino Aoyama. Tatsuya Ogi will be voiced by Yuichi Nakamura. TOU-KEI will be voiced by Tomokazu Sugita.
The anime will be directed by Masakazu Hishida over at Okuru to Noboru. The series scripts will be overseen by Toshiya Ono. Character designs are credited to Satomi Miyazaki, while Yutaka Yamada is credited for composing the music. The anime adaptation of Viral Hit will be produced by Slow Curve.
About Viral Hit Series
The Viral Hit webtoon series was launched in November 2019 in the Korean language created by Taejun Park and illustrated by Jung Hyun Kim. Webcomic platform Webtoon then published the series in English in October 2020. The series has published 205 chapters so far as of February 20, 2024. The manga is also released in Japanese under the LINE Manga app.
Aside from Viral Hit, author Taejun Park also wrote the story for Lookism and is currently the CEO of PTJ Comics.
Webtoon released the synopsis of the series as follows:
“Scrawny high school student Hobin Yu is probably the last guy you’d expect to star in a NewTube channel that revolves around fighting. But after following some advice from a mysterious NewTube channel, Hobin is soon knocking out guys stronger than him and raking in more money than he could have ever dreamed of. Can Hobin keep this up, or will he eventually meet his match?”
