The first Mobile Suit Gundam Seed anime aired in Japan from 2002 to 2003 with a total of 50 episodes. This was the followed by its sequel Mobile Suit Gundam SEED Destiny that aired in Japan from 2004 to 2005 with a total of 50 episodes. An OVA titled Final Episode: The Chose Future was released on Christmas Day, 2005.
