The second promotional video for the television anime based on Naoki Yamakawa and Masashi Asaki’s “My Home Hero” manga is here. The promotional video was uploaded on the official Twitter account, confirming My Home Hero’s release date, April 2 2023.
The teaser also hints at the anime’s “Ai no Uta” opening theme music by Chiai Fujikawa. Further to airing on BS TV and Tokyo MX, the anime will also stream on Crunchyroll.
In the manga series “My Home Hero,” a salaryman joins a perilous environment to defend his family after learning that his daughter was beaten up.
The manga’s 19th volume was published on January 6; the third and last part of the manga was picked up in issue 29 of Weekly Young Magazine, which was published in June 2022. Seven years have passed since the end of the second arc.

Plotline
The plot of My Home Hero, described by Kodansha USA is –
“Tetsuo Tosu is a typical father whose biggest worries are his job and his rebellious daughter, Reika. That is until he finds a bruise on her face. His worst fears come true when he finds out she has a secret boyfriend…and he’s part of a crime ring using her to steal her grandparent’s wealth. If that wasn’t bad enough, the thug catches Tetsuo snooping around and threatens to kill Reika as soon as she gets home. Fueled by fatherly instincts, Tetsuo murders the man…only for his wife to walk in and witness what he’s done. Now with a corpse to hide and a crime ring hot on his tail, Tetsuo must resort to his love of detective novels and his wits to stay one step ahead of a grim fate…”
