Baki Hanma Season 2 Official Trailer Released

Baki’s road to the strongest is still far off. But, we can continue to watch his journey soon!

The PV was released for the second season of Baki: Son of Ogre. With complete information starting from the story, broadcast schedule, and which arc will be adapted, we can guess how the story will unfold.

For better understanding, TMS Entertainment uploaded the PV with an English sub. Though it isn’t a surprise because the trailer from the previous season also subbed.

Alright, let’s cut the case and start talking about the PV is about. Read on!

Baki Hanma Season 2 PV

the PV was released on May 11, 2023. A day before that, there was a pre-announcement for the big reveal on the official Twitter Baki.

It came as a surprise because the fans thought that the announcement would only reveal a broadcast schedule. The reason for this is that they already posted Baki’s PV on May 5, 2023, albeit the PV was only a bunch of manga’s slide show.

All surprise aside, let’s talk about the PV. Like what that have been foreshadowed in the previous season, the next enemy Baki has to surpass is a fossil from the old.

This type of human is an anomaly because they were alive when a T-rex was still around. Heck, the fossil clearly shows that this human fights T-rex barehanded.

All of the martial artists that have been shown in Baki’s life come back to try their might against Pickle. In the end, Baki also joins the fray and tries to battle him.

But the surprise doesn’t end there. The last 10 seconds of the PV indicate the start of “The Father VS Son Saga” which we know is the final goal of Baki, defeating his father who is the strongest man on Earth.

The PV states that BAKI HANMA season 2 premieres on July 26, 2023. Like the previous Baki series, Netflix will stream it worldwide.

Baki Hanma Season 2 VA and Theme Song

Just like the previous season, all VAs will reprise their role once again. We have additional two casts which are:

Takeshi Kusao as Pickle
Nobu Tobita as Dr. Albert Payne

The PV revealed the two bands that will perform both the opening and ending of the series. Wagakki Band will provide the opening song entitled “The Beast”, meanwhile UPSTART will perform the ending song “WILDER”.

The story finally steps to an end. The strongest clash between father and son that no one ever sees will happen. Baki who has tackled every challenge to make him stronger finally has the courage to challenge his father to a duel.

The climax of the Baki Universe which is depicted as the “strongest parent-child brawl in the history of the world” in the original manga begins!
