Bullbuster is an action, sci-fi anime series coming out in the year 2023, the series will be produced by studio Nut, known for their works in Youjo Senki and Deca-Dance.
The official announcement of the series was made on their newly created Twitter account via @bullbuster_info, and it was later posted on their website as well.
The announcement did come with the official key visual and a promotional video, plus the list of cast members and main staff members for the series.

The key visual for the Bullbuster series featured almost every main character in the series including Tajima Kouji, Okino Tetsurou, Arumi Nikaidou, Miyuki Shirogane, and Ginnosuke Mutou.
The list of cast members was recently revealed by the official Twitter account and later updated on the website which includes Shinichiro Miki as Tajima Kouji, Ken Uo as Kintarou Kataoka, Taiten Kusunoki as Ginnosuke Mutou, Asami Seto as Arumi Nikaidou, Yuuki Takada as Miyuki Shirogane, and Shouya Chiba as Okino Tetsurou.
Information about additional characters is available on the series’ website; however, we don’t know much about their voice actors.
The list of main staff members was also revealed with Aoki Hiroyasu as the series’ director and in charge of composition, Takahisa Katagiri for character designs, and Junji Ookubo for mechanical designs.
Bullbuster Promotional Video Review
Not a lot was shown in the Promotional Video; however, we did see the wonderful character designs and a little of the world background, and those seemed amazing.
And most importantly the mech animation didn’t seem like bad CGI, it’s certainly on par with hand-drawn animations, and fans are excited about it.

A series like Bullbuster is definitely going to be a series worth watching, there are shows with massive mech battles; however, we’ve never seen how these organizations operate with a strict budget.
Bullbuster follows the story of a young individual by the name of Okino Tetsurou who is assigned to the vermin extermination company under the Hato Industries, along with his robot, Bullbuster.
Hato Industries have taken it upon themselves to eliminate a mysterious creature, but they have some serious money problems. The cost of fuel, repair of the robots, and cost of labor for the pilots are all too much, so will they be able to successfully exterminate the creature with a tight budget?
Bullbuster list of Characters
Tajima Kouji is the president of Hato Industries, he wishes to help the people of Longan Island so he decided to set up a vermin extermination company.
Okino Tetsurou is the new pilot of Hato Industries, he was transferred to this company after he finished developing his robot. He’s a simple guy who loves anime and robot anime.
Miyuki Shirogane is in charge of general affairs and clerical work, she takes care of everyone in the company with a bright smile on her face. She’s also an extremely strong drinker and a sucker for delicious food.
Nikaidou Arumi Is another pilot of Hato Industries, she’s extremely good at her piloting and honest about what she says. Much like Tajima, she also has a strong attachment to Longan Island.

Bullbuster is a Japanese multimedia franchise, originally started as a concept book in November 2017, it was later revealed to be written by Nakao Hiroyuki and illustrated by Kuboonouchi Eisaku. The original book series has two volumes available to read.
