One Piece Film Red Music
The music team for One Piece Film Red will receive the Special Award at the presentation scheduled to take place at Grand Prince Hotel New Takanawa in Tokyo on March 10, the Japan Academy Film Prize Association said on January 11.
One Piece Film Red heavily emphasizes music, and those responsible have been recognized with the Japan Academy Film Prize’s highest special honor. The selection committee gave the film’s music team the Chairman’s Distinguished Service Award because they thought they had made a significant contribution to the Japanese cinema industry.
The Special Award is comparable to the Chairperson’s Distinguished Service Award, which is presented to an individual or organization for excellent performance during the given year.
Ado, a rising vocaloid singer, songwriters Mrs. Green Apple, Vaundy, FAKE TYPE., Yta Orisaka, Hiroyuki Sawano, and Motohiro Hata, as well as film composer Yasutake Nakata, make up the group. The seven songs that Ado provided to the films from June through August of last year were made available by the Uta Project for the film.
These songs were included as part of the CD “Uta no Uta One Piece Film Red.” Ado also sings the movie’s theme song, “Shinjidai,” or “New Genesis,” as the singing voice of the character Uta in One Piece Film Red. Despite becoming “the world’s most popular singer” while hiding her name, Uta is a major subject of the movie.
Information About the One Piece Singer

She later turns out to be the daughter of Monkey D. Luffy’s longstanding hero Red-Haired Shanks and a childhood buddy of the series’ main character. Ado discussed the production of the movie in an interview with NME from last year, mentioning that she had recorded the songs before Uta’s spoken voice was recorded.
“When I first accepted this position, I had no idea who would be the voice actor. I honestly didn’t know what her voice would sound like throughout the recording,” she admitted, adding that in order to replicate the character’s singing voice, she had to connect with the character’s emotions and her connection with Shanks.
She said, “I was worried until the final music got to everyone, but I feel secure about it now because many people liked the songs. The main focus of the movie is Shanks’ daughter Uta, a new character. Uta’s singing voice is Ado, while Kaori Nazuka provides the character’s speaking voice.
