On Thursday, Crunchyroll made an announcement that it would be streaming the spring 2023 anime seasons In Another World With My Smartphone 2, Kizuna no Allele, and Opus Colors.
And On April 3, the second season of the television anime adaptation of Patora Fuyuhara’s light novel series In Another World With My Smartphone (Isekai wa Smartphone to Tomo ni).
In Another World With My Smartphone Season 2 Schedule
The first episode of In Another World With My Smartphone Season 2 will air on Monday, April 3. In Japan, the episode will air at 11:30 p.m. JST.
Crunchyroll is simulcasting the show for global viewers. The official timeslot has not yet been made public by Crunchyroll. Typically, the episode with English subtitles is made available one hour or an hour and a half after the Japanese broadcast. A similar schedule in the US would be as follows:

- 11:00 a.m. CT
- 9:00 a.m. PT
In Another World With My Smartphone Season 2 Cast and Staff
The Returning Cast will also play as a VA in Season 2 and as for the staff of the show.
A new staff and animation studio will be present in the second season. The anime at J.C. Staff is being directed by Yoshiaki Iwasaki (Do You Love Your Mom and Her Two-Hit Multi-Target Attacks?, Love Hina).
The series is being composed by Deko Akao (Komi Can’t Communicate, Snow White with the Red Hair). Character design and principal animation director duties are being handled by Chinatsu Kameyama (Kemono Michi: Rise Up).
The art director is No Game, No Life’s Eiji Iwase. Tokyo Ghoul:Eiko re’s Nishi is in charge of color design. The director of photography is Yutaka Kurosawa (Food Wars! Shokugeki no Soma). The editor is Ayumi Yamagishi (REAL-T).
Pony Canyon’s soundtrack was written by Kei Yoshikawa and Khei Yamada (Mobile Suit Gundam AGE, Love of Kill). The sound is being managed by Takumi It (Let’s Create a Mug Too).
About In Another World With My Smartphone
Patora Fuyuhara is the author of the isekai light novel series In Another World With My Smartphone which is broadcasted on crunchyroll. The series is illustrated by Eiji Usatsuka. The light novels were initially serialized by Shosetsuka ni Naro in 2013.
Hobby Japan started printing the series in May 2015. The English and North American releases are handled by J-Novel Club in the meantime. A manga version of the series is also available, with illustrations by Soto.
In November 2016, Kadokawa Shoten started serializing the manga. The manga is printed in English by Yen Press. The Production of the first season anime adaption was created by Reed. In the meantime, Season 2 of In Another World With My Smartphone is being made by J.C. Staff.
The first season has 12 episodes and debuted in July 2017. Crunchyroll also offers a stream of it. According to Crunchyroll, the series is:
“The main character finds himself in a parallel realm where he starts his second life after passing away as a consequence of God’s error. His sole assets are his restored body from God and a smartphone that functions in the modern world.
