Gridman Universe Plot
As the movie is coming up here’s a little info, that will help you understand the anime. Gridman Universe is a crossover of SSSS Gridman and SSSS Dynazenon.
SSSS Gridman
Yuta Hibiki and his pals are the main characters of SSSS Gridman, telling their story as huge monsters known as kaiju start to materialize and decimate the city. Through an outdated computer, the enigmatic hero Gridman communicates with Yuta, and together they merge to grow enormous and battle the Kaiju. The Gridman Alliance must save the day, uncover the truth about the origin of these kaiju, and determine why people always forget what happened the day after.
SSSS Dynazenon
The sequel to the original anime, SSSS Dynazenon, features the arrival and control of kaiju by a group of Kaiju Eugenicists. In order to defend himself, a man by the name of Gauma enlists a group of schoolchildren, a juvenile offender, and a young adult to assume control of the mecha that merge to become the enormous fighting robot, Dynazenon. The crew struggles to overcome their individual obstacles while trying to save the world.
