What should you expect?
The setting of this anime is basically not that rare. Performing activities to save the place from shutting down. It is pretty much like Love Live!. But instead of being an idol or a band, it chooses pole dancing.
The amount of effort poured into this anime project is no laughing matter. Touko Machida, who is in charge of the script, interviewed the pole dancer from elementary school to their 60s.
Moreover, a real studio of pole dancing is also involved in making this series.
On the other side, fans are surprised about the bold move of this studio to emphasize the beauty and elegance aspect of pole dancing instead of relating to the sexuality aspect. It is basically impossible to separate the sexual stereotype pole dancing has.
How will Tetsunoko handle the “wholesome” Pole Princess? Will it reap praise or criticism from fans? Let’s wait for it!
The release date has not been revealed. We estimate it will come out in late 2023 or possibly early 2024.
Based on the teaser, it will have a PG 13+ rating.
