Many fans were puzzled and almost believed that the anime got canceled because there is no further information related to the anime since the announcement on the first day of the Dengenki Bunko Winter Festival 2021 event on December 2021.
But, good news comes from Uno Bokuto’s Reign of the Seven Spellblades. After more than a year, Warner Bros Japan finally opened an official website. The website includes an almost complete list of information related to the anime. They released broadcast decisions, visual teasers, PV, cast, and staff.
It turns out that the fans don’t have to wait that long because the Reign of the Seven Spellblades will premiere in July 2023.

The PV was released on March 9, 2023. This PV provides us with the background of the story of the series. It uses the combination of magic and school genre which is not that rare.
So, what is the difference between other anime in the same genre? There is no denying that this series will involve blood because, in the first scene, we have several students trampled to death.
Many assume that the series is a unique combination of Harry Potter and Made in Abyss. With that comment alone, we can guess what this anime will entail.
The visual teaser shows six main characters. Starting from the left, we have Guy Greenwood, Hanao Hibiya, Oliver Horn, Aalto Katie, and Michela McFarlane.

In the world of magic, there exists a deadly technique known as spellblades. The form is very elusive and secretive to the point that the technique as well as the user is unknown to the public. The only information the masses know is its absolute lethality.
In spring, the prestigious magic school Kimberly accepts a new student body. With a parade of magical beasts, the school welcomes newcomers. Among them is Oliver Horn, the mysterious new student.
