Update on the much-awaited third season of That Time I Got Reincarnated as a Slime. The third season of the anime That Time I Was Reincarnated as a Slime will debut in the spring of 2024, according to the production team.

A teaser image of Holy Knight Hinata Sakaguchi getting ready to combat with Rimiru, the series’ main protagonist, was previously displayed on November 9, 2022, before the screening of the Scarlet Bond movie.

The franchise would have another anime season, according to the same teaser. The third season of the anime will air in the spring of 2024, however, the precise date and time weren’t made known at the time.

That Time I Got Reincarnated As A Slime 10th Anniversary Project

The franchise will also release a three-part original anime, Koriusu no Yume (Coleus’s Dream), this fall as part of its 10th-anniversary project. In addition to the third season, the crew revealed that there will be an OVA adaptation and further projects.

Moreover, with the big screening of That Time I Became Reincarnated as a Slime: Scarlet Bond earlier this month, new things have been added to the official website and social media pages of Tensura.

Coleus’ Dream, a side story from the main series that is known in Japanese as Koriusu no Yume, is being adapted into a 3-part OVA as the first project. Further information on the release of the OVA will be made available soon. It will make its debut sometime in the fall of 2023.

Takuma Terashima, who previously portrayed Rimuru’s former self, Satoru Mikami, will sing the Coleus’ Dream opening theme song.

The brand-new, original plot for the Scarlet Bond movie was written by Fuse. Raja, a brand-new nation to the west of Tempest, serves as the focal point of the narrative.

Rimuru and his friends become embroiled in a protracted plot centered on a woman with a strange power. Together with Hiiro, another ogre survivor who had admired Benimaru, Rimuru and his leader Benimaru come upon Hiiro.

On November 25, the movie had its Japanese premiere. It debuted at #2 and in its first weekend, 225,000 tickets were sold for 297 million yen, or around $2.14 million. In the first three days, 313,000 tickets were sold for 416 million yen, or around $3.19 million.

On January 20, the movie debuted in the US and Canada. In its first three days, it made US$1,588,491. The movie had its world premiere on Crunchyroll on January 18 in the United Kingdom and Ireland, January 19 in Australia, and January 26 in Mexico.

Crunchyroll will provide the dates in the future. The movie will also be released in 2023 in the Middle East and other regions.
