My Love Story With Yamada-kun at Lv999 is a comedy, romance anime series that is set to premiere in the spring of 2023, the series will be animated by studio Madhouse and released in April, the official release date is yet to be revealed.
The franchise recently revealed more information regarding the recently announced anime series including additional cast members, the list of staff members, and a new promotional video.
The official announcement was made on their Twitter account via @yamada999_anime and was later updated on their official website as well.

The original key visual that came out on September 24th, 2022, featured the two main characters, Akito Yamada, and Akane Kinoshita playing games on their computers, uncovering a bit of the story of how they meet.
The additional list of cast members along with the previous ones includes Kouki Uchiyama as Akito Yamada, Inori Minase as Akane Kinoshita, Natsuki Hanae as Eita Sasaki, Ai Kakuma as Runa Sasaki.
Additionally, a list of staff members was also revealed as Morio Asaka as the series director, DÉ DÉ MOUSE band in charge of music, Kunihiko Hamada for character designs, and Yasuhiro Nakanishi for the series composition.

The promotional video for the series was absolutely amazing, the voice acting was top-notch, the animation quality was amazing and the character designs were simply beautiful.
The trailer revealed the in-game environment and character designs differently from real life which was a nice touch, they also revealed the voice actors for other additional characters.

There are very strong Horimiya vibes coming from this series, and I am completely on board with the idea of making this show the best romance series of 2023.
Akane Kinoshita gets her heart broken by her in-game boyfriend who cheats on her with someone else, she realizes that boyfriends always cheat be it in real life or in-game.
To vent her frustration, she goes to a mob spawn and beat monsters relentlessly until she encounters Akito Yamada, a member of another guild.
Yamada is a social outcast of sorts, he doesn’t fit in with people and isn’t the type of person to make Akane fall for him; however, against all odds, she does. Though she soon learns that Yamada may be a high-level mage in-game, he is completely inexperienced when it comes to matters of hearts.
Akane encounters the final boss, a high-level high school boy.

Akane Kinoshita is a female college student at Tokyo University, her boyfriend originally invited her to play an online game called Forest of Savior; however, her boyfriend met someone else on that game and started ignoring Akane before finally dumping her.
Akito Yamada is a professional gamer and attends prep school, he’s quite well-known in the gaming community because of his superior skills, and he’s also extremely handsome in real life.
Eita Sasaki is another member of the same guild as Akane and Akito, he’s a caring, and tolerant person.
Runa Sasaki is Eita’s younger sister, she’s also a game freak and not very familiar with social life outside of her games. She dislikes both Akito and Akane.
