Kaiju No. 8 is a sci-fi action series that will premiere in the year 2024. The official release date isn’t revealed, but we know that Production I.G is the production studio.
The franchise revealed a special character visual featuring the monster known as Kaiju No. 8 with some additional information. This official Twitter account first made the news revelation and later updated the website as well.
The last update for the series came out on December 20th, when they announced the official release date. And there hasn’t been any confirmation on that part.

Kafka Hibino is the 32-year-old protagonist who couldn’t fulfill his dream of joining the military corp, so he works as a sweeper and cleans the remains of defeated Kaiju monsters. While he had given up on his dream, his passion for the military never faded.
Mina Ajiro is Kafka’s childhood friend and captain of the third military division. At the age of 27, she has eliminated hundreds of kaiju monsters and is considered the strongest among all captains. She specializes in using a sniper rifle and subjugating large monsters.
The Plot of Kaiju No. 8
In a world where giant monsters appear out of nowhere and demolish entire cities in a matter of minutes. A highly specialized organization trains elite military soldiers to defend against them and keep the damage to a minimum. And once the threat is neutralized, another group of cleaners comes to take away the remains for either research or disposal.
Hinibo Kafka is the protagonist for this series, and he is a 32-year-old man. He dreamed of joining the military corp, but he couldn’t qualify for the job, so now he works as a cleaner to pay the bills.
One day when he is cleaning the remains of a dead Kaiju, a strange parasite sticks to him and goes inside his mouth. This turns Kafka Hibino into a strangely powerful monster capable of demolishing other monsters with ease.
