The director of the series Hiroyuki Hashimoto made a Tweet saying, there are still many things we haven’t decided yet, but he will continue to direct the series.
After the initial season, the six magical girls gather once again to fight against evil. Every third day they are pulled into a magical simulated realm where they have to work together to defeat enemies, solve puzzles, and earn magical candies to advance.
And the winner gets the prize of one billion yen; however, only the person who lands the finishing blow will receive the prize, so it’s only about time before the girls turn against one another.
And when someone’s HP drops to zero, they will be eliminated, but no one knows what means.
About Magical Girl Raising Project Restart
Magical Girl Raising Project is a Japanese light novel series written by Endo Asari and illustrated by Maruino, the series was first serialized in 2012 under Takarajimasha’s Kono Light Novel ga Sugoi! Bunko Imprint for a total of 13 volumes. The English release of the light novel was licensed by Yen Press.
Later a manga series was adapted by Pochi Edoya and was serialized in Kadokawa’s Comp Ace magazine.
The first anime season of Magical Girl Raising Project premiered on October 1st, 2016, the upcoming series will cover the Restart light novels.
