Masamune-kun’s revenge series is returning with a sequel. The series will air in the Summer of 2023, specifically on July 3rd with Studio SILVER LINK in charge of the anime production.
The franchise unveiled the release date with a new key visual. They first made the announcement on the official Twitter account @masamune_tv and later updated the website as well.

The franchise unveiled the list of cast members for the characters, featuring Ayaka Ohashi as Aki Adagaki, Natsuki Hanae as Masamune Makabe, Suzuko Mimori as Neko Fujinomiya, and Inori Minase as Yoshino Koiwai. Additional supporting cast includes Saori Hayami as Kojuuro Shuri, Azusa Tadokoro as Tae Futaba, and Miku Itou as Muriel Besson.
Staff members working on the sequel include Mirai Minato as the series director, Toshiki Kameyama as the sound director, Ritou Nakahara as the art director, and Michiko Yokote in charge of the series composition.
Masamune-kun’s Revenge Plot
The plot is simply a revenge story of a child who was once made fun of because he was chubby. He was rejected by a beautiful young girl named Aki Adagaki, so he decided to change his life around, and since then he was endlessly worked to improve his physique and exact revenge on that girl.
Masamune discovers that Adakagi has transferred to a school in the city, so he follows her to try and charm her with his looks. His ultimate plan is to make her fall in love with him and then break her heart to teach her a lesson.
