My Hero Academia Chapter 396 Preview, Raw Scans And Spoilers

Currently, five series of Weekly Jump manga (One Piece, Black Clover, Jujutsu Kaisen, Mission: Yozakura Family, and My Hero Academia) are reported to come through the final arc. Thus, it is almost time the story achieves the climax.

My Hero Academia itself has entered the final arc, Final War Arc, in chapter 343. From then on, the fight between villains and heroes becomes chaotic with villains having an upper hand. But, somehow, the heroes still keep pushing despite being at a disadvantage.

Now, another villain has fallen in the last chapter. It means the battle will continue elsewhere. Which villain will have the spotlight in the next chapter? And who will stand against him?

Last Chapter Recap

Before leaking the information about the next chapter, let’s recap the final war arc a little bit. So far, the League of Villains has suffered a huge blow with their member dying throughout the series. 

In the final arc, there are only six members left (All for One, Shigaraki, Dabi, Spinner, Toga Himiko, and Gigantomachia). Of course, they aren’t alone. With the help of the Meta Liberation Army, Re-Destro organization, they gain an upper hand when they launch a frontal attack on heroes.

The last chapter concludes the battle between Toga Himiko and Ochako. Through the fight, Ochako understands the reason Toga did all of her deeds. She realizes that no one ever acknowledged Toga before. That’s why she runs to the League of Villains, the only place where she is accepted.

Despite all of that, Ochako still accepts her. She even volunteers herself to be her lifetime blood supply. Hearing this, Toga opens her heart. 

At the same time, Ochako is on the verge of dying from blood loss after fighting against Toga. Knowing that the only hero who accepts her will die at any moment, she uses her quirk for the last time and offers all of her blood to Ochako.

Now that Toga is most likely dead. The story moves to the next battle. The spoilers for chapter 396 were explained by the Twitter user @RukasuMHA.

According to the leak, the next chapter is entitled “A Quirkless Fight”. This time it is All Might turn to take the spotlight. This chapter will continue chapter 386 final act when he intercepts All for One with his car.

The fight begins with All Might’s car, Hercules, turning into a suit armor that has the same design as his old costume. Of course, the mouth still has an opening showing his smile. He believes that heroes need to show confidence. Moreover, this battle is streamed throughout the world by La Brava.

But, Tsukauchi, who is the oldest friend of All Might, realizes that this might be his last battle. Thus, he asks La Brava to stop the stream because he doesn’t want to project everyone’s favorite hero dies.

Then their battle begins. Thanks to Hercules, All Might is on par with All for One despite being quirkless. The chapter ends with All Might giving AFO a kick with his Shooting Style Smash.
