That’s what this anime is about. A doctor dies after knowing that his favorite idol is pregnant despite still being 16 years old. Unknown to him, he just reincarnates as her baby. Not only that, it turns out he has a twin sister which also a reincarnate as well.

Oshi no Ko Release Date
The anime was decided to be animated on June 10, 2022, JST. Teaser visual as well as staff was listed at the same time.
The moment the announcement was made, the official Twitter was flooded with followers. Just less than one day, they already hit 55,555 followers. Not only that, they become a hot topic on Twitter in one day.

Six months later, they revealed the date of the broadcast which happens to be April 2023. There is still no information about the exact date yet.
But there is another good news, the first episode will receive extended time for 90 minutes. Moreover, the pre-screening will be broadcasted in the theater on March 17, 2023.
Oshi no Ko Trailer
The trailer was released on December 11, 2022. With a grim atmosphere contrary to the visual teaser which is a happy family, we can expect that this anime is not a walk in the park.
Doga Kobo studio will be in charge of production with Hiramaki Daisuke as a director. Character design will be drawn by Hirayama Kanna, while Tanaka Jin writes the script. Unfortunately, the one in charge of music is yet to be revealed. It is a bit weird because the anime will involve a lot of songs.
The cast was also revealed on December 11, 2022, at the same time as the first PV. There are 6 casts that have been revealed.

Oshi no Ko manga
Oshi no Ko was based on the manga of the same name written by Aka Akasaka and illustrated by Mengo Yokoyari.
It has been serialized since April 2020 and it has already been compiled into nine volumes as of October 2022.
The manga is a big hit with a total of 3 million copies has been sold as of October 2022. They have many awards as well in different categories.
With how well-received the manga is, fans expected the manga to get an anime adaptation sooner or later. But, now, it really happens and we will see it animated in spring 2023!
It will be released on April 2023. Though the exact date has yet to be revealed.
