Hells Paradise: Jigokuraku is the latest action series produced by Mappa Studio, the series is initially set to premiere in the year 2023 with further information soon to be revealed during the Jump Festa 2023.
Hell’s Paradise revealed a statement deciding they will reveal the cast for the characters along with a surprise announcement, and additional information about the latest anime trailer.
The reveal will take place on December 18th (Sunday) and the location will be the Neo Booth Stage.
They also mentioned the event would be live-streamed and there will no further announcements after that, so you don’t want to miss it.
The 7 characters whose cast will be revealed are Gabimaru, Yamada Asaemon Kiriuma, Azadoribei, Yamada Asaemon Sakiri, Yamada Asaemon Tsukechi, and Tamiya Tetsusai.

Hell’s Paradise recently revealed the main key visual for the series along with a small PV trailer that featured the main characters and set the overall tone for the series.

The key visual featured the two main characters, Sagiri Yamada Asaemon holding an extremely sharp sword, and Gabimaru in the reflection of the said sword.
The series is a fantasy adventure series filled with lots of action-packed fight scenes to keep you entertained, the official list of characters was revealed; however, a complete list of cast members will be revealed during the Jump Festa 2023.

The key staff members include Makita Kaori, known for his work in Attack on Titan and Yuri!!! On Ice as the episode director, Dewa Yoshiaki is in charge of the music, his most recent works involve Call of the Night, Hisagi Akisugu will take lead on character designs, and Kindaichi Akira will handle the series composition.

A series created by Mappa Studio always has a somewhat similar vibe, the animation seems quite familiar and the action scenes had the same appeal as some of the popular shows.
The sword physics and the animation scenes had the same level of impact as we’ve seen in Dororo, plus the overall premise for the series wasn’t much different either.
Top of all that, the PV trailer gave off an exciting vibe that would make you want to watch the show, the character designs we well done and the overall world environment looked amazing.
The plot of Hells Paradise: Jigokuraku
The story follows the main character, Gabimaru who is on death row for abandoning his missions and letting his fellow assassins die. He was once a great assassin but he refuses to kill anymore because of his wife.
And no matter what method is used to kill him, he remains alive because of his strong desire to reunite with his wife.
The beheader, Asaemon Sagiri offers him a choice to be forgiven and live a free life, she requires him to join the expedition on a mysterious Island and eliminate any threat that comes their way.
He reluctantly accepts this offer and they all set off on a journey to an island south of Japan where they discover many horrifying things.

Hell’s Paradise: Jigokuraku is a Japanese fantasy action manga series written and illustrated by Yuji Kaku, the manga began its serialization on January 2018 for free on Shonen Jump+ application website and the chapters were collected in 13 tankobon volumes.
The manga series currently has 13 volumes and 127 chapters in circulation by Shueisha.
