Tsurune is the sound made when an arrow is shot during archery or kyudo and the bowstring strikes the bow. That’s what fascinated our protagonist Minato about archery.
The plot revolves around the young passionate archers of Kazemi High School. Then we have, Minato Narumiya who is an important member of his middle school’s Kyudo club, Unfortunately, he ended up missing a shot in his middle school competition and let his team down.
From that day onwards, the fear of missing a shot stuck with him until high school. Seiya Takehaya and Ryhei Yamanouchi, two of his boyhood pals, try to get him to rejoin the high school’s Kyudo club, but he rejects their advances.
However, Minato is motivated to pick up archery again after having a chance encounter with an enigmatic man at a woodland archery range. Minato joins the Kazemai High School Kyd Club and sets out to win the prefectural competition with his new comrades Nanao Kisaragi and Kaito Onogi as well as his old pals.
The 2nd season will most probably be about the archer’s second year at Kazemi High School. We’ll be introduced to new characters as the new team members.
