The original anime series created by GoRA, Ayaka: A Story of Bounds, just revealed some additional information recently. On January 25, 2023, the official website released a tease parade including PV, theme song artist, cast, and staff.

Ayaka: A Story Of Bonds And Wounds Cast And Staff
The PV that has been released shows two main characters, Yukito Yanagi and Jingi Sagawa. Based on the last scene of the PV, this original anime will premiere sometime this year. Though no other character has been introduced, the main cast for main characters has been revealed:
- Yuto Uemura as Yukito Yanagi
- Takuma Terashima as Jingi Sagawa
- Takahiro Sakurai as Haruaki Kurama
- Yuichiro Umehara as Aka Ibuki
Furthermore, the additional staff was also revealed at the same time. Nuboyoshi Nagayama (Happy Sugar Life, Smile Down Runway) will direct the anime at Studio Blanc. GoRa (K Series), the original creator, will be responsible for the series scripts. The artist redjuice (Guilty Crown, Beatless) will provide the original character designs, while Misaki Kaneko (Smile Down Runaway) will finalize the said designs.
King Records, as the collaborator of the anime, is producing the music with the help of Kana Shibue (Devils Line, Sasaki to Miyano) as the composer and Ryo Tanaka (Smile Down Runway, Inuyashiki) as the sound director.
Ayaka: A Story Of Bonds And Wounds Story
The story is set on Ayakajima Island. It follows Yukito, a boy who can control water with mysterious power, and Jingi, a student of Yukito’s father. They come back to Yukito’s birthplace on Ayakajima, which is actually an archipelago with seven islands.
Rumor says that mysterious being called “mitama” and dragons reside on those islands. After reaching the islands, they meet other disciples of Yukito’s father who turns out to be responsible for keeping harmony with the mysterious being inside the islands. What will happen after this encounter?
