While Matsuri considers all ayakashi a threat, Suzu is an ayakashi medium-person who has more life energy than the others, but despite the risk, she loves them all.
The two meet Shirogane, a white cat who turns out to be the “King of Ayakashi”. His goal is to gain even more power by devouring Suzu. However, Matsuri intervenes to seal Shirogane’s powers, but the ayakashi uses a technique to turn him into a girl.
Matsuri must now learn how to act like a girl until his grandfather finds a way to transform him back. The fate of the two friends becomes even less clear when Matsuri takes the king as his pet.
