The staff of the new Horimiya anime called Horimiya: The Missing Pieces has released key visuals and a trailer. A new promotional video reveals and previews the anime’s theme songs, new cast members, and a release date.
Horimiya: The Missing Pieces is the long-awaited sequel to the popular romance anime Horimiya from 2021. It is an adaptation of HERO and Daisuke Hagiwara’s Horimiya manga series that run from October 2011 to March 2021.
Although it took years to get its anime adaptation, Horimiya was a big hit among anime fans and reminded people of classic high school romantic anime.
The new anime will feature the stories that the first season skipped. This includes the Kyoto field trip and sports festival.
Horimiya: The Missing Pieces Trailer
The official trailer was released on YouTube on Friday. The new video revealed the theme song, new cast members, and release date.
The anime will premiere on July 1st on Tokyo MX and MBS when it will be streamed on AbemaTV and U-NEXT. The anime will begin airing on other streaming services on July 5.
Omoinotake performs the opening theme song “Shiawase” (Happiness), while Ami Sakaguchi performs the ending theme song “URL.”

Daisuke Namikawa will join the cast as Takeru Sengoku, Kakeru’s father. Tako Sano is the chief animation director of Horimiya: The Missing Pieces.
