On Friday, the official website for the adaptation of the Yuri light novel I am in Love with the Villainess published a new key visual, as well as a trailer, more cast members, and the October premiere. This time, apart from the already well-known duo of the story, we have the opportunity to see other important characters.
GL Bunko announced the adaptation of the famous novel and manga in December 2022 with the first trailer revealing the main staff and cast members. Along with the trailer came the first key visuals that introduced the two main characters, Rae Taylor and Claire Francois. Ever since then, the audience’s interest is growing and this yuri isekai has a bright future.
I’m in Love with the Villainess Trailer, Cast, and Staff
On Friday, May 12, a new trailer was released on the official YouTube channel. The new promotional video features both well-known characters and supporting characters.
The official site also announced the new voice actors joining the cast:
- Aimi as Misha Jur
- Ikumi Hasegawa as Lene Aurousseau
- Sara Matsumoto as Loretta Kugret
- Minami Kurisaka as Pipi Barlier
It will star Yū Serizawa as Rae Taylor and Karin Nanami as Claire Francois.
Studio Platinum Vision will do the animation, with Hideaki Ooba as director. Ayumu Hisao will write and oversee the script. Youko Satou will adapt the character designs, and along with Toshimitsu Kobayashi will serve as animation director. Hajime Takakuwa is the sound director, and Noriyuki Asakura and Usagi to Uma are composing the music.

I’m in Love with the Villainess is a Japanese light novel written by Inori and illustrated by Hanagata. It was serialized by Shōsetsuka ni Narō from 2018 to 2021. Aichu Publishing published the first light novel volume digitally in February 2019 under the GL Bunko imprint.
Yuri manga magazine Comic Yuri Hime began serializing Aonoshimo’s manga adaptation of I’m in Love with the Villainess in June 2018. Seven Seas Entertainment has licensed serialization in North America.
