The third season of Tenshura was announced on November 9, 2022. It was revealed at a live viewing event for the movie, That Time I Got Reincarnated as a Slime: Scarlet Bond. The key visual was released along with the announcement.
It shows the commander of Holy Knight, Hinata Sakaguchi who will confront Rimuru who just becoming one of the demon lords. This will be their rematch after Rimuru successfully fled from Hinata in the previous season. Now that Rimuru has become a demon lord, can he win this?

Before watching the third season, the staff prepared the side story commemorating the 10th anniversary of the web novel debut. The anime adaptation is taken from a bonus extra booklet with the Blu-ray Disc for the second season of That Time I Got Reincarnated as a Slime.
