After waiting for two years, we finally have new information related to The Wrong Way to Use Healing Magic anime.
The producer of the anime, GREE Entertainment (producer of Mushoku Tensei, Peach Boy Riverside), launched an official website for The Wrong Way to Use Healing Magic on May 17, 2023. The website contains a vital piece of information albeit not yet completed.
We already have a line-up of visual teasers, PV, staff, and, best of all, the release year. Now that the available information was revealed. Let’s break them apart!

The Wrong Way to Use Healing Magic PV and Visual Teaser
The PV was released on May 17, 2023. We have a brief preview of what anime will look like. It is a bit of a shame that the PV is still voiceless because the cast has yet to be announced.
Looking at the quality, it looks like the quality will meet up to the standard. They seem to use full animation without using CGI technology. Usually, the monster from anime nowadays is made using CGI. But, we see nothing like that in the PV. Be it the bear or snake.
The famous classic studio, Shin-Ei Animation which animated Doraemon and Shinchan, is collaborating with Studio Add to make this series. Based on their track record, the animation quality is, arguably, never disappointing (Takagi-san, A Couple of Cuckoos, The Dangers in My Heart)
The PV also revealed the key staff. Takahide Ogata directs the anime, while Shougo Yasukawa (To Aru no Railgun T) is in charge of the series composition. Tanabe Keiji (Blue Lock) is designing the character.
Unfortunately, the fans should be patient once again. You will have to wait for at least a half year because the anime is confirmed to premiere in 2024. The exact schedule is still TBA.
The visual teaser was released at the same time as the PV. It shows Ken Usato doing a piggyback to his bear pet. Behind him, his mentor, Rose, is coaching him to become the best healer in the kingdom. We can also see a green aura usually related to healing magic in every anime.
The Wrong Way to Use Healing Magic Story
Ken Usato is a normal high school student who is bored with his daily routine. He is the epitome of averageness in terms of grades, physical ability, and looks.
One day, he encounters the student council president and vice president. Though he thinks that they are out of his league at first, somehow, he befriends them. But, that luck turns for the worse. Ken and his new friends are transported into another world to defeat the demon lord!
With no way of returning, Ken plans to stay quiet. But, it turns out that he has an affinity for healing magic, a rare magic that pulls the attention of all mages. Unfortunately, his luck is finally depleted after he is noticed by a crazy fellow healer.
