The creator of the famous manga series “To the Abandoned Sacred Beasts” shared their words. they mentioned the series might be coming to an end with the release of its 15th volume. The manga series will end in the Spring of 2023.
The announcement did not come with any hints regarding the second season of the anime series. Kodansha recently published the 14th volume of the series, and will soon be available to readers.

During the civil war, Northerners of Patrian created superhuman soldiers. These soldiers could transform their bodies into gigantic beasts. The Northener higher-ups created them to fight off the Southern forces. Their overwhelming abilities easily turned the tide of the war. However, each transformation affected their minds and bodies. Soon, they began to lose their sanity and their personalities.
After the war was over, the higher-ups decided to remove the Incarnates. They didn’t want to deal with the aftermath, and that is when the Incarnates lost their humanity. Completely giving in to the desires of the Sacred Beats.
The former leader of the Incarnates decides to take on the responsibility of freeing his soldiers from the clutches of the beasts. His journey is treacherous and difficult but he won’t rest until his goal is complete.

I have no doubt the manga series is quite popular among fans of the fantasy genre; however, the anime series didn’t perform as well, it was forgotten before it was even over. I felt that the creators rushed the series and developed the characters little to none.
The chances of a sequel depend heavily on the first season’s performance. Most anime that premiere each season are forgotten, and this show is no exception.
