After years of neglect, the Yuri Genre is getting the attention it deserves! In the past period, numerous adaptations of yuri manga have been announced, and we can expect most of them next year. Among the works that await us is Yuri Is My Job anime, whose release date has finally been announced.
This romantic comedy gained popularity right after its release, and over time it gained a place among the most significant works of the GL genre. With that being said, an anime adaptation shouldn’t come as a surprise, but since manga of this type rarely get an anime, this excited fans.

Yuri Is My Job Release Anime Date and Trailer
On May 14, 2022, it was announced on the official website that Miman’s manga Yuri Is My Job will get an anime adaptation. On November 11th of this year, it was revealed when the anime would be released. Yuri Is My Job Release Date is scheduled for April 2023.

Yuri Is My Job Staff and Cast
Studio Passione and Studio Lings will animate Yuri Is My Job, while Hijiri Sanpei will direct it. Taisuke Iwasaki will design the characters, and the company Infinite will do the production. At Anime NYC 2022, Crunchyroll announced that they had licensed the series.
Earlier this year, a trailer was released revealing the main cast. Yui Ogura will voice Hime Shirasagi and Sumire Uesaka will voice Mitsuki Ayanokōji. The rest of the cast was announced on the official website:

Yuri Is My Job YouTube Live Event
On December 24, 2022, the Infinite YouTube channel will stream a special program about the Yuri Is My Job anime.
The guests of the program will be Yui Ogura (Hime Shirasagi) and Sumire Uesaka (Mitsuki Ayanokōji), who will reveal something more about anime.

Yuri Is My Job Prescreening Event
The first episode of Yuri Is My Job was released at Akihabara UDX Theater on December 2, 2022, at 18:00 (JST). One hundred and fifty people got the chance to watch the first episode for free.

Hime is a high school student who presents herself as the perfect girl, while secretly only caring for herself. After accidentally injuring the cafe manager, Hime has to replace her at work. At this all-girls-boarding-school-themed cafe, she meets a waitress who hates her and threatens to destroy the image Hime has built over the years.
Yuri Is My Job is a yuri manga written and illustrated by Miman. It aired on November 18, 2016, in Ichijinsha’s Comic Yuri Hime. Kodansha USA licensed this manga in English. This also was Kodansha Comics’ debut in publishing Yuri manga.
