How Much Source Material Is Left?
There are currently 99 chapters included in the official manga which doesn’t cover the spin-off series covering the backstories of every character.
Bungou Stray dogs season 3 ended on chapter 53 which means there is more than enough source material to create 2 additional seasons and a movie.
Not to mention the spin-off series is nowhere close to the end, there have been hints at the possible ending but nothing is official.
Possible spoilers for Bungou Stray Dogs Season 4
The third season of Bungou Stray Dogs ended with the Armed Detective Agency and Port Mafia combining forces to take down the enemy; however, their friendship was short-lived but at least both sides understand each other a little more.
The Bungou Stray Dogs season 4 will be the “Decay of the Angel” arc where our beloved characters will go against a terrorist group that specializes itself as a murder association and if you can’t tell from the key visual, things are about to get serious.
The Staff for Bungou Stray Dogs Season 4
Studio Bones will return to animate the fourth installment, and Takuya Igarashi returning as the director, the series composition will be overseen by Youjo Enokido, both talents have worked on the previous seasons. Wakabayashi Kazuhiro serves as the sound director and Nobuhiro Arai is in charge of the character designs; also serving as the animation director.
With the old staff returning to oversee the fourth installment, we can only expect the quality of the show to be improved.
