Death Mount Death Play website just revealed a parade of announcements. Starting from the cast, theme song, and release date.
Ryohgo Narita’s manga announced its adaptation back in November 2022. They revealed the studio and staff at that time. With no indication when this anime will premiere.

On February 24, 2023, the announcement stated that Dead Mount Death Play will premiere in April 2023. But the exact release date has yet to be released.
They also listed the cast for the series. They include:

Sou will provide the opening song entitled “Nero”, while Inori Minase will sing the ending “Iolite”.
Ono Manabu (Sword Art Online: Alicization) will direct this anime at Geek Toys (Plunderer). Yukie Sugawara (No Guns Life) and Yoriko Tomita (Fire Force) will write the script. The character design is drawn by Hisashi Abe (Kingdom 4th Season) and Takayuki Yamaguchi (Tower of God) will handle the sound.

The PV was released on November 15, 2022. It shows a brief animation containing character introductions and a few battle animations.
As you can see, the fight doesn’t really use bad CGI which is good though we can see that the giant skull is actually made from CGI technology. Even then, the quality is closer to Overlord rather than Arifureta.
