Good news for overseas anime fans, Mashle: Magic and Muscle can be streamed on Crunchyroll with English subtitles. This announcement was posted on the official Twitter of Crunchyroll on 21 February 2023.
The anime adaptation was announced back on July 4, 2022. Though it is only a month before the premiere, the exact schedule is still TBA. But we can expect the announcement will be revealed on February 25, 2023. Reportedly, MASHLE will participate in Anime Japan 2023.

MASHLE CAST, STAFF, AND PV
The official website of Mashle revealed the main cast back on November 10, 2022. It also includes the first PV which only shows the character design of five characters. The cast includes:
- Kobayashi Chiaki as Mash Burndead (Tomodachi Game)
- Reiji Kawashima as Finn Ames (Fumetsu no Anata e)
- Kaito Ishikawa as Lance Crown (Shield Hero)
- Takuya Eguchi as Dot Barrett (Spy x Family)
- Reina Ueda as Lemon Irvine (Demon Slayer)
The second PV was released on December 18, 2022. Unlike the first PV, the animation scene is present. The narrative doesn’t indicate the background of the story at all. But we can draw a line that this anime will involve many comedies inside.
The anime will be directed by Tomoya Tanaka (Engage Kiss) at A-1 Pictures. Yousuke Kuroda (My Hero Academia) will handle the series composition, while Hisashi Toujima (Blue Lock) will draw the character design. Masaru Yokoyama (Horimiya) is in charge of the music.

MASHLE is a manga from JUMP that follows the story of Mash Burnhead, a boy who can’t use magic. In a world where magic is everything, he is condemned by everyone. It is because his gene is considered a felony by others.
Before his death penalty just for being born without magic, he is given chance to prove himself in the magic academy. But what can he do against the overwhelming might of magic? It turns out he has amazing muscle power.
