Good news for overseas anime fans, Hajime Komoto’s Mashle: Magic and Muscle can be streamed on Crunchyroll with English subtitles. Crunchyroll announced it on their official Twitter on 21 February 2023.
The magic anime adaptation was announced back on July 4, 2022. Though it is only a month before the premiere, the exact schedule is still TBA. But we can expect the announcement will be revealed on February 25, 2023. Reportedly, MASHLE will participate in Anime Japan 2023.
MASHLE: MAGIC AND MUSCLE CAST, STAFF, AND PV
The official website of Mashle revealed the main cast back on November 10, 2022. It also includes the first PV which only shows the character design of five characters. The cast includes:
- Chiaki Kobayashi as Mash Burnedead (Tomodachi Game)
- Reiji Kawashima as Finn Ames (Fumetsu no Anata e)
- Kaito Ishikawa as Lance Crown (Shield Hero)
- Takuya Eguchi as Dot Barrett (Spy x Family)
- Reina Ueda as Lemon Irvine (Demon Slayer)
- Hiroaki Hirata as the Narrator
The second PV of MASHLE: MAGIC AND MUSCLE was released on December 18, 2022. Unlike the first PV, the animation scene is present. The narrative doesn’t indicate the background of the story at all. But we can draw a line that this anime will involve many comedies inside.
Tomonari Tanaka (Engage Kiss) is directing the anime series at A-1 Pictures. Yosuke Kuroda (My Hero Academia) will handle the series composition, while Hisashi Toujima (Blue Lock) will serve as the character designer. Masaru Yokoyama (Horimiya) is in charge of the music.
