A second season of Kadokawa’s anime The Eminence in Shadow has been confirmed. On February 22, 2023, precisely one week after the first season’s closing episode on February 15, The Eminence in Shadow season 2 was formally revealed.
If the series follows the storyline of the light novels, the future season will be centered on Lawless City, where the vampires reside. The formal announcement was made during a special event that the cast of the show attended.

The Eminence in Shadow Season 2 Teaser
During a recent live broadcast showcasing the cast of the series, the second season of the new isekai Anime was officially announced as predicted. A teaser trailer for Season 2 was released.
Nexus will continue to serve as the animation studio for the second season in addition to a brief, darkly atmospheric trailer depicting the Lawless City and its three rulers, the Spirit Fox, the Tyrant, and the Progenitor Vampire.

As Cid is sent to a new realm, he wishes to take on that position. Cid tells a few fantastic tales and unexpectedly rises to the position of commander of the shadowy Shadow Garden group, which battles a dangerous cult (which he totally made up).
The cult he invented truly exists, and they are beyond angry that his power fantasy just got in the way of their nefarious intentions! But there’s a catch that even his wild imagination didn’t see coming.
The Eminence in Shadow Season 2 Cast and Release Date
A crucial image for the upcoming second season has also been unveiled along with the new announcement video. It was also posted on the program’s official Twitter account shortly after being broadcast on the stream.
No other information was provided outside the teaser and the image. The team and actors from the first season will return for Season 2, which is confirmed to be produced by the animation studio Nexus.
The Eminence in Shadow Season 2 has not yet been given a release date, however, it is most likely to occur in 2024 at the earliest.
