The Marginal Service is an anime series that has been one the most anticipated shows to premiere in the year 2023, they recently announced the broadcasting of the series to begin in April 2023!
Along with the announcement, they also revealed the entire cast for the series along with special short comment videos from each cast member about their character and the show.
The official Twitter account of The Marginal Service made the announcement first and later it was updated on their website as well.
The series already has a key visual which they revealed back in November along with a teaser Promotional Video that featured the main cast with some interesting graphics.

The key visual featured most of the characters from the series, standing behind the police warning tape and wearing hard hats with a green medical symbol on them.
We don’t know much about the actual plot for the series we can assume it has something to do with protecting the city against criminals.
The official list of the cast members was updated on the official website which included Kaori Nazuka as Candyheart, Lyra, Kouki Uchiyama as Peck Desmont, Tomokazu Sugita as Dexter Bolts, Hiro Shimono as Kuga Cyrus N. Mamoru Miyano as Brian Nightraider, Toshiyuki Morikawa Stokes Zeno, Shinichiro Miki as Thompson Theodore, and Yuuichi Nakamura as Timbert Robin.
The entire list of staff members is yet to be revealed; however, the key staff members working on the show include Masayuki Sakoi as the director known for his work as a storyboard and episode director for popular franchises, Yoshio Kozakai in charge of character designs and Kenta Ihara for series composition.
The Characters of The Marginal Service
You know there is something special about the series when the cast is filled with some incredible voice actors and highly detailed characters.
Brian Nightraider is an ex-detective who doesn’t care about good or bad, he used to be an amazing detective with the highest number of arrests and solved cases but he was kicked out because of a scandal he committed. He always had a strong sense of justice and the desire to help people.
Zeno Stokes is yes another detective with a cool nickname, Perfect Order. He would anything to make sure justice is served, he often takes up charge as the leader because of his naturally charismatic personality.
Bolts Dexter is the muscleman of the detective group who used to be a mercenary, he’s excellent at hand-to-hand combat and can demonstrate explosive power in battles. He may look scary but he’s a softie with a good heart.
Lyra Candyheart is the beautiful and gorgeous IT operator of the group, and much like any other member of the team, she’s dedicated to her duty.
Peck Desmont is the Marginal Service mascot, it’s either a squirrel or a beaver that can climb trees. Somewhat looks like a mouse.

The Marginal Service is an upcoming detective Japanese anime original series coming out in April 2023. Studio 3Hz is animating the series and it is produced by Cygames who have a big name in the gaming industry.
