The Jump Festa every year is full of exciting news and this year wasn’t any different, we got lots of exciting announcements about the continuation of popular shows and announcements for the upcoming series for the year 2023.
The Livestream featured plenty of amazing and exciting holographic while introducing exciting news about the upcoming Sasuke anime series, the whole thing was loved by the fans.
This year’s Jump Festa featured popular shows including Jujutsu Kaise, Naruto, Blue Exorcist, Spy x Family, and a lot more.

Naruto & Boruto
There was plenty of commotion about the special announcement for the Naruto franchise, and after the 20th-anniversary celebration, almost every fan was hoping to see a complete remake of the entire naruto series with a brand-new art style.
However, what we did receive was an announcement for the Boruto anime that will cover the story of Sasuke Uchiha, most likely his time away from the village chasing after the Otsutsuki clan members.
The series is titled Naruto: Sasuke’s Story–The Uchiha and the Heavenly Stardust: The Manga, and it came with a fantastic key visual.
Jujutsu Kaisen
Jujutsu Kaisen season 2 was finally confirmed to be released on July 2023, and some character design changes were revealed in a short trailer video.
Bleach
Bleach: Thousand-Year Blood War revealed a new key visual before the grand finale, the visual featured Ichigo’s parents in a black-and-white alteration. The final two episodes will be released on December 26th, 2022.
One Piece
The opening to the One Piece stage started off with an amazing performance by a VTuber Uta dressed as Santa to commemorate their new film. It was later revealed that Uta-Santa will appear on 6 big screens in Tokyo.

After the initial session, Eichiro Oda highlighted the important moments of the franchise. He was also glad to say that his manga is attracting lots of young fans and that he has no plans of ending the manga series anytime soon.
And as a long-time fan, you couldn’t be happier that the series is continuing but at the same, everyone wants to know what is the treasure known as One Piece.
The upcoming year for the franchise will also be a big one as a new One Piece game is coming.
Spy X Family
Before the Spy x Family part 2 was even finished, an announcement was made for another sequel coming out in the year 2023, and not only that but an anime original movie was also announced.
That part of the Livestream was by the most wholesome one, the main cast for the series including Atsumi Tanizaki, Saori Hayami, Takuya Eguchi, and Kenichirou Matsuda did a table read for the scene when Bond Forger became part of the Foger household.
And the popular question of whether Bond Forger shared a similar voice actor as the narrator was also answered. He mentioned that he tried to use different types of “borf” sounds to convey emotions in his voice acting.
Dr. Stone
The Dr. Stone franchise didn’t stay behind, they finally revealed the upcoming trailer featuring the New World, which is the next destination of our main characters.
The main cast of the series attended the event which included Yuusuke Kobayashi, Kengo Kawanashi, and Gen Sato. They talked about the upcoming sequel and teased the new characters that’ll make an appearance.
Blue Exorcist
A minor announcement was made regarding the release of the third season of Blue Exorcist, the main cast from the previous installments attended the panel; however, no further information was released.
Chainsaw Man
Chainsaw man franchise didn’t reveal much information about the upcoming sequel; however, it did give us a sneak peek at what the upcoming anime sequel will cover.
Tatsuki Fujimoto, the mangaka for the Chainsaw Man series had a few words to say about the show, he mentioned how grateful he was that the series is so popular with fans and revealed that the upcoming sequel will cover the backstory of Himeno and Aki, how they met and got close together.
Black Clover
Black Clover featured the new theme song by TREASURE for their upcoming movie Black Clover: Sword of the Wizard King, the movie is set to premiere on March 31st and will be available to watch online on Netflix.
The official trailer for the series was revealed along with some additional cast members.
Undead Unluck
Undead Unluck is the most anticipated series to come out in the year 2023, the franchise revealed its first trailer with a few key staff members from the Fire Force anime series.
My Hero Academia
There will never be any shortage of anime stage plays, as much as we have loved to receive the announcement of an upcoming season, this honestly doesn’t feel that bad.
During the live stream, we got to see the cast members talk about their favorite moments throughout the series, and awards were given to voice actors in various categories.
Kohei Hirokishi had a few things to say at the end of their panel, he mentioned that the manga would be complete within a year and showed his gratitude to the fans for supporting his work for this long.
Haikyuu!!
This was a great time for them to reveal further information about the upcoming two movies but instead, the entire panel was about the upcoming stage where Kenshiro Kato plays the main lead, Hinata.
The voice actors talked about their experience working on the series and how they are looking forward to the recording sessions for the upcoming movies.
Kuroko’s Basketball
Kuroko’s Basketball didn’t stay behind when it came to showing off its influence, the franchise revealed the final movie for the series Kuroko’s Basketball: Last Game was converted into the 4D format and will be released throughout Japan on January 20th.
Aside from the big news, the panel talked about their experience during the production of the series and how they met the voice actors for individual characters. The voice actors for the main duo, Kensho Ono and Yuuki Ono talked about they would always buy the weekly shonen jump.
Hell’s Paradise
Hell’s Paradise is easily the most anticipated series for the year 2023, studio MAPPA recently revealed the first main trailer for the series during the Jump Festa 2023 and it was the most amazing announcement for a new series. The premiere date was also unveiled as April 2023.
Ron Kamonohashi: Deranged Detective
The first announcement of the new upcoming shows came with Ron Kamonohashi: Deranged Detective which is a mystery anime series. The announcement was made during the Jump Festa 2023 by Ayumu Murase and Neeko.
The series revealed its first teaser and revealed the animation studio to be Diomedéa.
Ayakashi Triangle
Ayakashi Triangle is an ecchi comedy series coming out in the year 2023, the announcement was made during a panel held by Kento Yabuki.
The franchise revealed the official key visual, the 2nd promotional video, and the animation studio to be studio Connect.
Rurouni Kenshin
One of the most memorable series of all time, Rurouni Kenshin reboot announcement was made during the Jump Festa 23, the panel was held by Rie Takahashi (Kamiya Kaoru) who was joined by Taku Yashiro and Makoto Koichi.

Mashle: Magic and Muscles is yet another popular supernatural series announced during the Jump Festa 2023, the series is being produced by A-1 Pictures and it is set to premiere on April 2023.
