The anime world’s unofficial tradition of not having a season without at least one isekai continues. On July 2nd this year, another fantasy series called Am I Actually The Strongest? started airing. This anime by Staple Entertainment has 9 episodes so far. The first season should end by October 1st with 12 episodes.
The anime is an adaptation of the light novel of the same name by Sai Sumimori. Am I Actually The Strongest? was originally published on the novel posting website Shōsetsuka ni Narō in September 2018. Later, Kodansha took over it and released the series in print with illustrations by Ai Takahashi. A manga adaptation of the novella was released in April 2019. Takashi also illustrated the manga.
