Oshi No Ko Manga Getting Live Action Film and Television Drama Adaptation
On January 24, 2024, the officials announced that the Oshi no Ko manga is getting a live-action film adaptation and a television drama adaptation in 2024. Amazon and Toei Animation team up with each other to produce a live-action version of the Oshi no Ko manga.
On one hand, Toe Animation will release the Oshi no ko live-action film in theaters. On the other hand, Amazon will release the Oshi no ko live action drama on their streaming platform, called Amazon Prime Video Japan. They will release both adaptations in winter 2024; however, they have yet to reveal their exact release dates.

- Nagisa Saito will portray Ruby’s role. She is also a former member of a popular fan-favorite idol group, “LOVE Idol,” and is working for the first time on an anime live-action.
- Kaito Sakurai will portray the role of Aqua. He is a well-known Japanese actor who worked on a popular live-action film, “Kimi Ni Todoke.”.
- Nanoka Hara will portray the role of Kana Arima. She is a popular Japanese figure who provides the voice for Suzume. She is also worked on the Wave Listen to Me live action series.
- Mizuki Kayashima will portray the role of Akane Kurokawa. She played a supporting role in a recent release drama series, “The Best Teacher: 1 Year Later, I Was Bullied by a Student.”
