Rick And Morty: The Anime Everything We Know So Far

Adult Swim, the leader in adult animation, has announced the green light for two brand new anime series: Rick and Morty: The Anime and Ninja Kamui. Both series are in production and will premiere on Adult Swim and HBO Max.
On May 18, 2022, Adult Swim announced that the Emmy-winning series, Rick and Morty, will get an anime adaptation, Rick and Morty: The Anime. This is a 10-episode adventure that will air on Adult Swim and HBO Max. The director of the series is Takashi Sano who previously directed two anime shorts, “Rick and Morty Vs. Genocider” and “Summer Meets God (Rick Meets Evil)” which received huge praise and received around 10 million views. In addition to these films, Sano directed the anime Tower of God.
Although it will serve as an independent show, this anime will also adapt events from the main series.
“The multiverse-straddling exploits of Rick and the gang pose challenges to the family bond, but they always rise to the occasion,” Sano explains. “It’s such a life-affirming sight, and Jerry is no exception.” He adds, “I am honored to have been given an opportunity to tell a new story about this amazing family. I hope you enjoy their adventures!”
Telecom Animation Film, the studio that produced Sano’s previous works, will be responsible for the animation.
