On January 19, 2024, Aniplex of America and Crunchyroll announced the global release date for Demon Slayer Hashira Training Arc. According to their announcement, “Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba—To the Hashira Training” will begin premiering from February 22, 2024, onwards in global theaters.

This one-hour special episode consists of “Swordsmith Village arc finale” and a sneak peek of Hashira Training arc episode 1. “Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba—To the Hashira Training” will be released on February 23, 2024, in North American theaters in several premium formats, including IMAX.

The film follows Kamado Tanjiro’s journey, where he left off in the Kimetsu no Yaiba Swordsmith Village arc. After defeating Gyokko (Upper Moon 4) and Hantengu (Upper Moon 5) in the third season, Tanjiro decided to become the hashira. In order to do that, he joined intensive training with Gyomei Himejima (Stone Hahira).
